Our editors oversee the work that our content writers perform, ensuring adherence to our in-house style guide, client directives, and SEO best practices.

Requirements

Editing requires strong attention to detail and excellent fluency in English. For this position, applicants should have:

• Experience with content production and writing
• An ability to enforce consistency in style and tone across content types
• Flexibility and the adaptability to quickly transition between different types of content
• A self-motivated attitude and a willingness to meet tight deadlines for client delivery
• Strong personal time management and organization skills
• An excellent grasp of content and communication
• An understanding of how to deliver constructive criticism and positive feedback to aid writers

Responsibilities

As an editor, you perform a vital role in ensuring clients receive only the highest-quality content produced by our writing team that adheres to appropriate style requirements and client directives. In this position, you will have responsibilities that include:

• Editing content according to a scheduled workload based on current content production rates
• Following major style guides, such as AP or Chicago style and English or Australian spellings
• Ensuring that content aligns with client briefing materials
• Collaborating with other members of the editing and management teams to facilitate quality results
• Following up with writers to deliver feedback and help coordinate client-requested revisions
